Monday, July 11, 2011. Wetherledge is an private estate that sits high on a ledge on the southeast end of Jamestown Rhode Island. There are dramtic views of the entrance to Narragansett Bay and Newport. The main house was built as a summer cottage in 1889. It was later used as an officers club during World War II. The original Fort Wetherill is now a waterfront state park, that surrounds the property. The Gatehouse is leased separately.

Saturday, July 18, 2009. Over the past 10 years, Stop Hunger Now has distributed millions of meals to over 65 countries. The Rotary Club of the Triad received a District 7690 Simplified Grant and a donation from the Jamestown Rotary Club to help underwrite part of the cost of the ingredients that go into each meal packet. We had a great time and hope to do this project again sometime.
